Anyone out there know about a Hindu Styled religion called "Ananda Marga"?

What do you know about it? It seems very stupid and superstitious to me but maybe I misunderstand something. I know it means "The Path to Bliss" and Sri Sri Ananda Murtii is its leader who died of Diabetes in the 80's. Other than that it just seems like stange yoga and diet rules...LOTS of rules even about taking showers, sleeping, exercising...they chant "Baba Nam Kavalam" I've seen their web site and it looks cheery but I've lived around some Margii's and its not like the web site portraits it. Margiis seem like irresponsible air heads who believe their leader is God. What do you know about it? Weird Cult in my opinion nearly identical to Hara Krishna's but with meditation and yoga instead of just Kirtan or singing chants. WEIRD!!! Airheaded people from India...do you know more about it than I do?
