Why don't christians think that when we die we go to Sheol still? It is clearly taught in scripture.?

if that is not true, then why would there be a need for a resurrection of the faithful? See the end of the revelation of john for the resurrection i am speaking of. and the judgements also in revelation. how can we be in heaven before we are judged for our sins? it just doesn't make any sense. and the revelation of john and the book of enoch clearly teach that heaven will be on earth, for the earthly will be restored to it's original pure state.
