What can i do to my new car?

Well, its not actually new, just new to me. Just got a black 1997 mercedes E420 and I want to know what little upgrades or work I can do to it to either make it look better or run better. I have already planned on painting the brake calipers and now I just want some ideas, mostly cheap ones like that because I don't have much money at all. Thanks!
