If I am in a relationship with a FtM , am I still straight?

Love is love. Don't waste your time beating yourself up over labels. There are many people who are straight and have found themselves in the same situation. If your partner considers themselve to be a man, then you should too. So, you love the person, not the gender. You should be happy you found love, that's an amazing thing. Congratulations. I understand this is difficult because of your families religious background. And there really isn't a solid answer of how to handle the situation that anyone can give you. Every family is different, and we don't know your family, but you do. And if you know the really love you, then it will be okay. Of course they are going to probably freak out, but eventually they will get past it. Love is a great thing, so live your life for you.
